Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport Recognized by PG&E for Energy Efficiency

03/02/2017

In October 2016, Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) awarded Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport a rebate check for over $135,000 as part of PG&E’s incentive program to encourage high-performance and energy-efficient designs. The rebate recognized a series of sustainability investments including elevator modernization, high efficiency chillers with free cooling and an in-room energy management system. The mechanical upgrades were performed in conjunction with the major renovations that concluded in Fall 2016.

Additional sustainability investments that Host Hotels & Resorts, L.P. made during the last several years include high-efficiency boilers, upgraded guest room HVAC, new roofing system and LED lighting throughout the hotel.
