Host Welcomes Investors and Analysts to an Investor Day in Orlando

Recently, Host Hotels & Resorts held an investor day to showcase the dramatic transformation of our company over the last six years. Our goal was to showcase the size, strength and quality of Host’s platform, the breadth and depth of our leadership team, our balance sheet and our successful portfolio reinvestment strategy.
Investors and analysts joined our management team to see our spectacular Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World® Resort firsthand including the 5-acre water park, the Michelin-star dining experience at Capa and the nightly fireworks from Disney parks. Attendees also toured our Orlando World Center Marriott property and saw the comprehensive renovations property-wide, in addition to ROI development projects, such as the new Magnolia ballroom, the water park and the speakeasy, which is a very creative use of space. The tours were well-received, particularly given the food and fireworks at the Four Seasons and the opportunity to see a large group in-house at Orlando World Center Marriott.
Our business session focused on our people, our platform and our portfolio, which is our competitive advantage, making Host Hotels & Resorts the blue chip in the lodging space. We shared communicated that we are well-positioned for the current macroeconomic conditions and the opportunities that lie ahead because of our reputation, size and scale, our independent analytics capabilities, our access to capital and our fortress balance sheet.
The business session featured multiple presentations and panels, including:

  • Introductory remarks from our CEO and president, Jim Risoleo, who covered who we are and our key messaging.
  • A presentation on our recent operational results, our 2023 outlook and the building blocks for future EBITDA growth.
  • A panel on Host’s unique approach to asset management.
  • Presentations on capital expenditures and our holistic Corporate Responsibility program.
  • A discussion about recent transactions and our approach to capital allocation.
  • A panel on the real value of our in-house analytics capabilities.
  • A Q&A session with our senior team.
