Host Is One of the Worlds Most Trustworthy Companies

09/18/2023

Host has been named to Newsweek’s inaugural list of the World’s Most Trustworthy Companies 2023, ranking #2 in the Real Estate & Housing industry, first among U.S. Real Estate & Housing companies and the top REIT.

Newsweek and global data research firm Statista completed an extensive survey of over 70,000 participants—gathering 269,000 evaluations of companies that people trust—and ultimately selected 1,000 companies in 21 countries and 23 industries as the most trustworthy in the world.

The selection was based on a holistic approach to evaluating trust. Three main public pillars of trust were considered: customer trust, investor trust and employee trust. The analysis followed a three-step process that included the creation of a longlist (stock-listed companies headquartered in one of the target countries with over $500 million in revenue); an extensive independent survey; and a social listening analysis, including an online and social media sentiment analysis.
