Host Supports Hurricane Ian Relief Efforts

11/10/2022

As a part of Host’s charitable giving program, we organize special donation funds to support our communities in response to a disaster, crisis or tragedy. As tens of thousands of people in Florida struggle with the devastation left behind by Hurricane Ian, Host is committed to providing support to those in need, including our most impacted Florida properties.

Through our partnership with the American Red Cross as part of the Ready 365 Giving Program, we made a donation to directly support their disaster relief efforts in Florida in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian. This support will help meet urgent and critical needs in impacted areas, including providing safe shelter, meals and comfort to Floridians. Additionally, we offered an opportunity for employees to support the Hurricane Ian relief efforts through the American Red Cross. Host matched all employee donations, dollar-for-dollar.

Hurricane Ian also caused damage to our properties, with the majority of the impact at Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa and The Ritz-Carlton, Naples. Host is committed to doing everything we can to get these hotels back up and running again as soon as possible. Working with our asset management teams and hotel teams, Host has offered our support to hotel employees and their families.
