Host has been named to Newsweek’s list of America’s Most Responsible Companies for the fifth year in a row.
The final list for 2024 recognizes the top 600 most responsible companies spanning dozens of industries in the U.S. Host landed at spot #333 and is ranked #6 in the Hotels, Dining & Leisure industry category.
Newsweek’s annual rankings analyzed data from more than 2,000 of the largest public companies by revenue headquartered in the U.S. before selecting the most responsible.
Each company selected for initial consideration was screened by different criteria in a 4-phase process. The detailed analysis incorporated the results of an independent survey among 17,000 U.S. citizens as well as research based on publicly available environmental, social and corporate governance performance data, including corporate responsibility reports.
In addition to being named one of America’s Most Responsible Companies, Host has also been included in Newsweek’s Excellence Index 2024. Host ranked at #47 overall, and #2 in the Hotel Companies industry category.
In partnership with Best Practice Institute (BPI), Newsweek developed the index to recognize companies across more than 25 industries that they identified as examples of corporate success and responsibility. According to Newsweek, “These companies exhibit a firm commitment to best practices in business and financial growth while serving customers, stakeholders and communities with a dedication to social responsibility and ethical standards.
As the bar continues to be raised, we are proud to once again be recognized as a corporate responsibility leader and good corporate citizen.
