In March, Host’s service team partnered with Rise Against Hunger—an international humanitarian organization dedicated to distributing food and aid to the world's most vulnerable children and communities—for a hands-on meal packaging event dedicated to providing life-saving nutrition to those in need.

Sixty volunteers joined forces in an action-packed, assembly-line-style experience. The day was filled with teamwork, friendly competition and a collective drive to help those facing food insecurity.

The first shift got off to an incredible start, assembling 5,021 meals, while the second shift stepped up to assemble another 4,984 meals—bringing the grand total to an impressive 10,005 meals. These nutrient-rich meals—consisting of rice, soy, dehydrated vegetables and essential vitamins and minerals—will soon be making their way to developing countries, where they will support school feeding programs and provide critical relief to remote, last-mile communities.
