Florida’s iconic beachfront resort—The Ritz-Carlton, Naples—reopens following an extensive renovation and expansion that was delayed due to Hurricane Ian restoration and recovery efforts. Transformational renovations to all guestrooms and suites have been completed and over 50 suites were added, bringing the total to more than 90 multi-room suites. A highlight is the brand-new Vanderbilt tower, which features a Ritz-Carlton Club lounge with stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico. Guests will enjoy an all-new arrival experience including an updated resort lobby, new lobby bar and refreshed public areas, including three new dining experiences and reimagined pool experience including new pools, bungalows, cabanas and spa.

During the Hurricane Ian recovery phase, we invested in and implemented new climate resiliency measures that are targeted to withstand a 500-year severe weather event. We also accelerated planned future capex investments to mitigate business interruption. We constructed a new, elevated central energy plant, elevated electrical equipment where feasible, specified high-efficiency major mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment replacements and we implemented heightened dry-floodproofing measures. Other areas within the resort have already benefited from previously completed resiliency measures, such as installation of hurricane rated windows and sliding doors in 2013.
